Salah Gate: Salah & Prayer Lock is a self-commitment app for Muslims. The user picks a city and the apps they find distracting; at each of the five daily prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) those apps are locked until the user taps "I prayed". Features: (1) prayer times calculated on the device from the chosen city and calculation method (Diyanet/Turkey, Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, ISNA, Karachi, Egyptian and others; standard or Hanafi Asr), no location permission; (2) a full-screen prayer screen shown over a locked app while its prayer is due, with a single "I prayed" button; the lock never blocks the phone dialer, emergency calls, the home screen or Settings; (3) a prayer-time notification (with or without sound) that also carries the "I prayed" button; (4) a local prayer journal: which prayers the user marked as prayed or missed, weekly grid, streaks; (5) per-prayer on/off and choice of apps to lock. Monetization: optional auto-renewing subscription "Salah Gate Pro" via Google Play Billing (weekly with a 3-day free trial, monthly, yearly). Free: prayer times, the lock, up to 3 locked apps, this week's journal. Pro: unlimited locked apps and full journal history. No ads, no accounts. Permissions: Usage access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS, to detect which app is in the foreground during prayer time), Display over other apps (to show the prayer screen), Alarms & reminders (exact alarm at prayer time), Notifications, a foreground service of type specialUse that runs only from the start of a prayer time until the user taps "I prayed", receive boot completed (to re-arm alarms), visibility of launcher apps (to list apps the user can choose). Internet only for Google Play Billing.
